General Introduction of Technology

The Technology Department of CTV composed of Production Center and Operation & Control Center, takes responsibilities of technical duties to the whole station, of producing self-presided programs and of televising programs of the five self-presided channels. The department is equipped with advanced technology and facilities that are in somewhat scale and advanced in our country and even in the world. The editor equipment is digitalized and CTV-1, CTV-2 are televised by microwave covering Changchun, City Jilin, Siping, parts of Songyuan and Heilongjiang. And total five channels of CTV televise with cable, covering the whole urban region in Changchun.
There are: one program studio in big scale (1500 ㎡)
one program studio in middle scale (400㎡)
one dummy program studio
six program studios in small scale
two sound recording machine rooms
one editor machine room and one wireless editor machine room
one O.B.Van with six channels
one tape recording van with four channels
two operation & control machine rooms
one master control room, one supervising control room, one emission room, and one broadcasting & recording room
